Dare to be Brave

You have unfounded fears, but why should you be ashamed of them? Everyone is afraid of something, and sometimes, it doesn’t even have basis. But then again, the best things in life come from all those unexpected moments. You’re the captain in your life and you need to navigate your way through it in order to find your goal and get to it. In life, you will have your share of successes and failures, of good times and bad. And in each time, you will be required to make decisions. Some of the things you’ll do will be foolish, but that’s how you’ll learn.

To change your course and to see success, you might have to make changes. In all these moments, you have to believe in yourself. Trust that each moment is making you wiser. As with everything in life, practice makes perfect. You will never know what to do unless you’ve tried it several times. Especially with the most difficult things in life, you don’t get everything with the first shot. You have to stumble a few times on the road before you get to your destination.

Of course you’re scared to leave your comfort zone. When you’re in uncharted waters, you’ll never know what might bite you from underneath. You’re bound to feel anxious, hesitant, and most importantly, uncomfortable. But that’s the only way to get to the great beyond. Your best weapon right now would simply be to expect the unexpected.  Breathe and learn to take things as they come. You’ll soon realize that things do happen for a reason. Be prepared and lower your risks, and that’s all you can do for now.

The greatest thing about life is that you don’t always have to settle for what you know. You can always expect the best because there are certain stitches in life that will require you to do more than what’s expected. This is scary but this is when you’ll get to realize what you’re capable of. So push yourself to do something you’re not used to. You will always be handed chances and it’s now up to you on whether or not you accept this chance. Sure, you could end up disappointing some people, but then again, you’ll never know unless you try. This is when you actually discover that the limits you once set for yourself are actually not an issue after all.

In the end, you’ll surprise yourself. So, when life throws you a curve ball, just take it and do the best you can do with it. People find themselves surprised at someone they never even thought was capable of doing it. And right now, you want to be that person. Leave others in awe and let them know that there’s more about you than meets the eye. This will be your best years, and that’s one thing you can be sure of. You may have had your bad moments, but it is also during this time that you’ll have your most unforgettable and memorable experiences.
